Teams and rosters
Kit colours, player names and numbers, and managing the bench.
Creating a team
From Teams, tap New Team and set:
- Name and kit colours — these drive the jersey tokens on every board.
- Logo, if you have one.
- Format the squad usually plays.
Adding players
Add players with a name, squad number and position — there are 23 positions, from GK through the full spread of defensive, midfield and attacking roles.
Names appear under the token on the board, so a play is readable to players who don’t yet know everyone’s number.
Bench and field
Open the Team panel from the board’s bottom bar. Players on the bench are listed at the top; drag one onto the pitch to bring them on, and drag a player off to bench them. The formation slot they land in updates with them.
Why there are no player photos
TactiTurf has no way to add a photograph of a player, and never asks for photo library or camera access.
That is on purpose. Most rosters are youth teams, and the safest way to handle images of children is not to handle them at all. Squad number, name and position are what a coach reads at a glance anyway.
