Getting started
Set up your first board, pick a format and get players on the pitch.
Your first board
Open TactiTurf and you land on Teams. Tap New Board to go straight to the pitch, or create a team first if you want your own kit colours and roster on the tokens from the start.
Choosing a format
Tap Setup in the bottom bar to choose:
- Pitch — full field or half field. Half is what you want for most drills.
- Format — 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 or 11v11. The token count follows.
- Formation — 32 presets, or build your own in the formation builder.
- Board kind — Game Board for match tactics, Drill for a practice field with cones, mini goals and ladders.
The pitch is drawn at true 105 × 68 metre proportions, so spacing you set here matches spacing on a real field.
Moving players
Drag a jersey to move it. The ball sticks to whichever player is closest to it and rolls when they move, so passing sequences look right without you placing it each time.
Shake the device to reset the board to its formation.
Saving
Boards save themselves — there is no save button. Everything lands in your Library, where you can rename, duplicate or delete.
