Running the day
The NOW line, shifting times when things slip, and the watch.
The NOW line
Open the Timeline and it scrolls itself to the beat underway. A glowing NOW marker sits between what’s done and what’s next, with the live time on it.
Tap the target button at the top-left at any point to snap back to now after you’ve scrolled away.
When the day runs late
It will. Tap Edit, then Shift Times, pick the beat where things slipped, and push it by however many minutes. Every beat after it moves with it — and so do the alerts, automatically.
This is the feature that gets used most. Use it the moment you know, not later.
Alerts
Silent, local heads-up notifications before each beat. In Settings you can set how far ahead they fire, and whether they cover the whole day or only your own beats — the default is only yours, because otherwise the whole day buzzes.
Live Activity
Once the day starts, BasePlate can put the current and next beat on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can check without unlocking.
On the watch
The watch companion shows the same day, scrollable with the crown, with a haptic before each beat. It receives a slimmed-down copy of the schedule straight from your phone — no server, no account.
